Mottling refers to a defect where the paint film appears cloudy or foggy. This is usually caused by spraying a coat that is too thin, excessively high preheating temperatures on the bottle, an inadequate thinning ratio, or the paint’s solubility rate.

How to resolve mottling?
Solution: Increase the paint film thickness and raise the thinning ratio. If the problem persists, you can add 10%–20% fast-drying thinner.
